Pet care experience
I am a lifelong animal lover! I grew up with cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters etc and was surrounded by dogs owned by family members and close friends. I have lived with dogs for the last 10 years and regularly walk my friends dogs for them during the week and at weekends. My boyfriend owns a lab and a Jack Russell, I look after them once every two weeks. I used to work for a charity focussing on conservation and animal protection, so pet sitting is ideal for me!

Jenny came to meet us and our dog Angus (2 yr old Vizsla) beforehand, and he loved her immediately! At 2 yrs old, he’s still pretty bouncy, but Jenny took it all in her stride. She’s very friendly and extremely capable, so we felt comfortable leaving Angus with her and he was clearly a very happy boy when we got back. I’d highly recommend Jenny to take care of your dog. I like to look after animals in a calm and relaxing space. It is very helpful to understand the animals temperament, daily routine, attitude towards people and energy/sleep schedules
A typical day
Walking in the forest, playing fetch with tennis balls (I prefer not to throw sticks due to the bark) learning commands, playing hide and seek, meeting other animals at a safe distance

Availability
I WFH 4 days a week and my working hours are flexible, I usually work 8am-4pm or 10-6pm with ability to move my lunch hour to whenever it suits me, which means I am often able to work to your schedule. I am often available at the weekends too! I do not have a car, so time would have to be considered for travel.
