**About me** I am an elementary school teacher so I am generally available to care for dogs during the summer, weekends, and other school breaks. If you are messaging me on a school day, please be aware that I don't have access to Rover from 8 a.m. until 5 or 6 p.m. I will get back to you as soon as I leave work. Please be aware that during the school year my availability will be limited to repeat clients only, and that drop-off and pick-up times will be limited to evenings and weekends due to my work schedule. I have a bluetick coonhound named Shady who is very friendly with other dogs. She is about 75 lbs but she absolutely loves small dogs. I love dogs and have cared for a number of dogs in my home. **About my home/services** I have a home with a fenced yard and the dogs have complete access to both through the use of a dog door. They are also welcome on the furniture. I will only accept one client at a time, although sometimes bookings will overlap by a day. I will accept a client who has two dogs, but I will not accept two dogs from different households at the same time. **About my neighborhood** I live in a quiet neighborhood in Kaysville near the foothills where I take the dogs to hike for a minimum of 1 hour at least once per day. **What to expect** In addition to going hiking at least once every day your dog will play with mine and enjoy lounging on the couch with me. **Special rules or requests** Because I also have a dog it is important that your dog is friendly and well socialized. I am not comfortable caring for dogs that are under 10 lbs or that are food aggressive.
