Hi there! I'm Jen, an avid animal lover who works from home, and I'd love to care for your pet friend while you are away! Since I work from home I can provide 24/7 care for your furry friend(s). I know that leaving your little friend for any period of time is never easy for you or your pet. So I offer safety, and loving support to ease the separation. I have over twelve years of experience pet sitting, dog walking and helping train dogs. I have fostered many last chance dogs and cats in my home. I currently volunteer as a cat socializer and dog walker at the San Francisco SPCA and Pets Unlimited Animal Shelter. I have also done volunteer work for Save the Animals Foundation in Cincinnati Ohio, as well as an outreach program called Pet Club that brings animals to nursing homes to visit with the residents. As I said, I love all animals and love going on walks and playtime probably as much as your pet does! He was the best dog ever in my opinion! Charlie was cocker-spaniel/lab mix and super friendly, lovable, soft and cuddly dog. He spent most of his time in the backyard and loved his little dog house at the edge of the yard. Some of my earliest memories are of me and Charlie hanging out in his dog house together. My experience administering medication Yes. I'm very comfortable administering medicine. My previous dog Bosco required pills everyday to treat stomach issues. I can administer medicine as a pill in the dog's mouth, in food or a treat, or with an eye dropper.

Jennifer did a great job and provided regular, thoughtful updates throughout. Nellie seemed very well take care of and stress free. Really appreciated that she timed her visits and provided consistency while I was out of town. Would definitely hire again.
Would definitely have Jennifer watch my cat again. She was very detail-oriented and sent fun pictures with little captions on them :) It's obvious that she is a genuine animal lover.
Jennifer was incredible!!! Super responsible and you can tell she thoroughly enjoys what she does!! Jennifer took care of my 6 month kitten while I was away for 3 days. I was worried because I have a shy kitten who doesn't do well with strangers. It took one visit to warm up to Jennifer, very quick!! She made sure to stop by at the times we had agreed on and made sure lots of pics and videos were taken. My kitten had a great time and I'm glad I found Jennifer to watch her while I was away. Definitely re-booking her in the future!! Thanks again Jennifer, you were awesome!!

Like any concerned dog owner, I want to get fairly acquainted with your pup and their habits/needs. Before sitting or walking a dog I would like to know the following: Is he/she spayed, neutered, or intact? Does he/she have their San Francisco License and ID tags? Is your dog current on all vaccinations? Is your dog on flea medication? Is he/she dog friendly? Is he/she people friendly? (Or does he/she have a gender preference?) How is he/she on leash? (Pulls hard, doesn't like leashes? leash aggressive?) How is your dog’s recall? (Does he/she come when called?) How is your dog off leash? (Stays by your side? likes to wander?) Is your dog a resource guarder? (Of balls, people, food, water bowl etc.) Does your dog like children? Does your dog get car sickness? Does your dog have any medical/physical conditions? Does your dog spook easily? (Loud noise, new people, places, animals etc.) Does your dog have any food allergies? (If so what are they?) Does your dog sometimes urinate when he/she is excited?
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I love to walk, so I will talk your dog everywhere. Primarily I will take the your dog to Huntington Square Park a few times a day to give them lots of space and grass to sniff and roll around in. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog can sleep wherever is comfortable. I find it best if the dogs has a comfortable bed of there own set up. But they are also welcome to sleep with me if that suits them. I have found that if a dog is used to sleeping with people is hard to make them stop, and I don't want to case the dog any unneeded stress. Time I'll spend with your dog As much time as possible! I am a student and work from home, so I'll be around to supervise the dog most of the time. And of course play with them and go on walks... Time I'll spend with your dog I plan on spending as much time with the dog as possible. I am a student and work from home so I'll be available to give your furry friend lots of love! :) Extra house-sitting services I will bring in mail and water plants. I am also available to clean you house, do you dishes, laundry, etc; at an additional cost.
