I have a heart for dogs. I often joke that I prefer most dogs to most people. Reading what a dog is thinking/feeling simply by observing their body language comes naturally to me, and I'm learning more all the time. I believe that every dog deserves to be understood and loved. I am a huge fan of Cesar Millan, and aspire to be as great of a dog whisperer as he is. I have successfully utilized his methods countless times with a variety of dogs. I have been dog sitting for nearly 20 years and have experience with puppies, adults, senior, and special needs dogs. Your fur babies will enjoy their time bonding with me and my two puppies, playing, exploring, and socializing in my large, fenced yard and feel right at home inside. My quiet, suburban neighborhood was once a nut farm, and still has many, large trees, including on my property. This means endless squirrels, chipmunks, deer, and other critters to watch, chase, and track. There is a creek that runs through the backyard, and it is separated by a second fence; this way, I can decide when/if we play in the creek. It can be a fun adventure, if the weather and other circumstances permit! I am within walking distance of a small town that is fully sidewalked in all directions, has a dog friendly weekly Farmer's Market in the warmer months, and 3 parks with walking trails. I also love going for "adventures" to nearby dog parks, nature reserves, and dog-friendly events.
