Hello! My name is Jennifer and I have worked with dogs for 7 years in total. Here is more information about me and my experience in more details: As a New Yorker, I love to be outside and there is no better way to do that than to be with the dogs I get close to and walking with them in NYC. When I joined Rover, I started my dog boarding business. I have tons of pictures and reviews in this profile. I also have several videos on my youtube channel which is on the back of my card. I worked in a doggy day care for 4 years and I enjoyed it every day because I was working with dogs. I was a dog handler, dog walker, and dog supervisor. I also helped the Vet retrain dogs for their shots, helped the groomer bath the dogs, and I was received basic dog training. With this job, I got to learn through hand on experiences on dog behavior and how to supervise dogs. Every dog is unique and they like to socialize, to play, be petted, and be walked differently. I learned how each can possibly have different kinds of triggers of anxiety &/or aggression due to fear. I learned how to read the signs and I learned many methods of making the doggy feel comfortable. I am not a certified trainer myself, but I have worked with a few dog trainers with training seminars. To this day I still love and remember all of my babies!!! I worked in several locations in Manhattan while I was working as a dog walker for the company. I walked and toke care of hundreds and different kinds of dogs. Then I was officially a full-time dog walker for the Murray Hill location only. I have watched many of them grow from floppy-jolly-hopping puppies to happy responsible young-adults. I also did home visits especially for cats, puppies, and dogs that are sensitive to the heat. While I did a drop in visit, I scoped up the kitty's litter box, changed wee wee pads, refilled the water bowl, gave them a bowl of food (if instructed), and had a ton of play time and cuddle time. I joined an agriculture program that teaches about plant and animal science for 4 years in high school. I also joined the FFA Small Animal Care and volunteered in the Queens Zoo. I love all animals in general but cats and dogs are my favorite since I was a child. I am dedicated to put a lot of time and attention into your love one and to really take care of your best friend and make sure they have lots of exercise, love, and tons of fun. Plus I am a very kind and sweet person. I have a very positive, jolly, and up beat personality who is constantly happy and smiling. I am also a hard-worker, responsible, respectful, honest, trustworthy, active, alert, multitasker, gentle, patient, caring, and a mature person. I also lived with dogs my whole life. In total I had 6 dogs and 4 cats. I'm sure as your love one stays with me, we will always have amazing times together with lots of care and safety. I can't wait and I am looking forward of meeting your best friend!!
