I will start with sharing that Jennifer took really great care of our 2 pups while staying at our home. One of our dogs is 16 and needs daily eye drops which she was able to handle without issue. During her stay there was a bit of chaos with a home security system malfunction and the older dog also got into something that gave him diarrhea but she managed all of that like a champ. Jennifer is a really kind person and you can tell she loves animals. Unfortunately, we stumbled upon some front door security camera footage showing that she had returned to our home just before 1 a.m. one of the nights with a gentleman that stayed until just after 3 a.m. We did address this with Jennifer, I do believe she realizes this was a poor decision and hopefully wouldn't let that situation happen again but I do feel it's an important thing to note as part of a review for other pet parents to consider.

Jennifer looked after my 14 week newly adopted puppy, and I can tell she really has a love for dogs and works well with them. However, she was given very clear instructions on how much supervision would be required, as well as which toys could be used, and these instructions were not followed at all. When I came home I found that she gave him every toy I had in the house, many of which are not for teething puppies (rope toys, floaties, etc). She also left him unobserved multiple times, as she told me she would leave the room and he’d jump up on tables, counters, shelves etc and pull down things to chew on that can be very dangerous for puppies. I also found a large pee spot on my carpet after she left (after she told me there were no accidents) which leads me to think she may not have taken him outside to pee every couple of hours as I requested. Jennifer was very kind and friendly, however from my experience it would seem that while Jennifer may be great with adult dogs, I would not trust her again with a puppy. If you’re looking for a sitter for a puppy that’s still teething and not quite potty/house trained yet, I would recommend booking someone else.
