I have 10+ years of experience with all types of dogs, including lots of time spent with rowdy and high energy large breeds. I always try to meet a dog where they are at, meaning if they are anxious and have excess energy, we are going to play and run that off! I am active myself and enjoy long walks, hikes, and time in the park. Maybe that explains my affinity for dogs in particular! I am very compassionate, yet confident in my approach to animals. I am a firm believer that one should never use force or aggression when working with an animal, but that firm guidelines and lots of rewards are always helpful.
