Kona has so much fun at Jennifers!! He played with other dogs she was sitting. They took really good care of him and always do things that I ask of them. Kona will be back to visit again.

The booking: 9 days of house sitting with three dogs, three cats, ferrets, and fish The good: My pets we well cared for. We received updates and photos during our vacation that put my mind at ease. The bad: I had left written instructions that included we would be arriving home around 4 AM on the 28th, and they did not need to stay past 8 PM the night before. When we arrived home after a 17-hour road trip, we found Jennifer and her husband still here. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal except we had given them our daughter's room to stay in and had expected her to be able to go to bed when we arrived home. The ugly: The house was a mess. I can only assume they thought we would be home the following day (which explains why they were still here) and had intended to clean it up. Nevertheless, I had to spend my first day home cleaning the house for six hours to bring it back to the condition it was when we left. There was mud on the walls, my work shoes that were by the front door had been worn and left by the back door caked in mud and dog droppings, some sort of blue dye (hair dye maybe?) was splattered in my daughter's bathroom, and a burn mark was made by a hot pot being set on the kitchen counter tile. The only reason I gave two stars in my overall rating was the fact that my animals were well-taken care of. That is the most important thing, but on a professional level, I was very disappointed in the overall care of my home.
