The care I provide brings happiness naturally. It is hard to explain, but my love for animals in general, goes beyond their "cuteness." I have my degree in Animal Science because I wanted to apply to vet school. I changed my mind, and I am now doing physical therapy, but it did not take my love and compassion for animals; dogs especially. I was a veterinary technician for 8 years at 2 different clinics, and I absolutely loved my job! There were a few clients from the clinic that I pet sat for. I am comfortable with just about everything; along with giving medications (orally, insulin, eye drops, wound care, etc.). I am currently in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program, and although I am busy with homework and studying, I can be at the house doing that, or take a break and go over.
