It makes me incredibly happy to be around dogs -- I simply love being outside and caring for animals, plus I like the exercise it gives me. But more than that, I enjoy seeing a happy dog and I aim to provide the care they need to be happy. I provide a safe and fun environment that’s filled with a lot of love, hugging, petting and kissing and I will make sure your dog enjoys their time with me. I have two large dogs -- a German Shepherd and Rottweiler (Riot and Luna) -- and a kitten. I was raised on a small family farm in Connecticut and I later moved to Long Island. I’m fortunate that my schedule allows me the time to work with Rover to dedicate all the time you need for me to take care of your fur baby while you’re away. I have a fenced backyard and I love to take pups for a walk. Pups make me smile and I want to make them smile too! Beyond that, both of my pups have been professionally trained and I continue to work with them on a daily basis. They love playing hide and seek, obstacle courses and fetch. Going for walks is fun for them because it not only allows more training time, but it allows them to get out and get some exercise. When it comes to caring for pets I consider myself to be a loving and caring teacher and I have experience with kittens (and a few strays), chickens, goats, pigs, horses, cows and bunnies. I’m happy to offer my services to any animal. When your pup stays with me, we’ll go for walks, have some playtime, chill out in front of the big screen on the couch and have some social play dates with my dogs and others. I do like to take walks and hikes and get as fresh air as much as possible. When I have a dog with me I tend to only take it to dog friendly areas. If your dog is comfortable I’m happy to take them to stores or restaurants or gatherings where other dogs can mingle.
