Pet care experience
I have been in the animal care field for almost 10 years. I worked in an animal shelter for years, working with all sizes, ages and breeds of dogs. I know how to care for cats and other small animals and rodents. After graduating vet tech school and getting my medical license, I worked in a hospital so I know how to administer medications and care for sick pets. I am a veterinary technician so I have the capability to make sure your dog is in good health and can watch for at illinesses, injuries or behavioral problems that can occur. And in the unfortunate circumstance that a problem does happen, I have the knowledge to care for the animal until we can get them to the vet. I own 3 dogs, from 25 to 130 pounds (Maltipoo, Lab mix and Great Dane), so I can handle any sized dog! And I have 2 chinchillas. :) I am also willing to bathe, clean ears and trim nails in your home. If you are out of town, I'm willing to check on and walk your pets at least 3 times a day. I'll also bring in mail, water plants, etc. I currently work in a veterinary medicine lab. I have a steady schedule of Monday through Friday 8-4.

Jeni has been a Godsend. Our rescue is a handful; even after 8 years of love and attention he trusts no one other than us and cannot be boarded. Jeni visited with him with me in the house several times until he let his guard down a bit. Even after a year of regular visits, she still takes extra time with him so they can continue to bond and she leaves detailed notes after each walk. We come home to a relaxed and happy guy. Jeni also makes herself available since we travel for business quite a bit and, at times, need her on short notice or because of delayed flights. We couldn't be more pleased. The dog agrees!
Jennifer is easily the most caring and compassionate person I've ever met - especially when it comes to animals. She's attentive, gentle, and intuitive. She loves playing with her pups, taking them on walks, and is truly devoted to making sure they live the best lives possible. She's a wealth of knowledge, and adventure. Anyone would be lucky to have her watch their fur babies.
Far as I can remember, Jennifer has been an animal lover, especially dogs...any and all breeds. Additionally, she is an advocate for animals. Jennifer has watched our boys every time we have gone out of town several times a year. With her education, it is comforting to know that should something happen, she could at least diagnosis the issue and get appropriate help. I can rely on her to correctly administer any medication, as needed. There is no one that is more perfect to take care of our boys.
Jennifer has taken care of our two dogs for periods of time ranging from a day to up to two weeks duration. She is dependable, and the dogs love it when she takes care of them. Jennifer always alerts us it if there are any medical or grooming issues with the dogs. I trust her implicitly in our home.
