Thank you for watching ginger.
Casper had a great time during his stay with Jennifer. Definitely recommend the stay with Jennifer.
Fluffy stayed with Jenifer for 3 weeks when I went to India. She took good care of fluffy and he looked happy and healthy on our return as we left him. I would definitely use her services again if she is available. One thing she could improve on is sending pictures more frequently like once a day. ?
I felt pretty comfortable and confident about my pup staying with Jennifer after reading all the great reviews she had received. I even had a pleasant experience with her before booking through conversation leading up to dropping Lou off. She had communicated she had a job orientation the same day I needed to drop Lou off and after some back and forth, we decided on 3:30 or later to give her time to get home. I got there right about 4:10 because I had a flight leaving at 5:30 and planned to drop him (she lived 5 minutes from me) then drop my car at my friends place so when he picked up Lou the following day, he could park safely in my downtown apartment garage where he would be staying with him the rest of the weekend. I had messaged a few times prior to showing up at her place letting her know when we would be coming with no response. I didn’t start worrying until I arrived and started calling the rover number multiple times with no response. After about 5-10 minutes, she finally texted me and said she was running late and that she wasn’t home. She did apologize but I had a flight leaving in just over an hour, now I needed to figure out what to do with a pup that I thought I had arranged care for days in advance. I completely am empathetic to the fact that things do happen, but it unfortunately caused a chain of events that ultimately ended in me having wasted too much time going back to my apartment to drop my dog alone at my place with no set plan of how he was going to get to her (had to beg and inconvenience a friend from out of town), didn’t have time to drive 10 minutes to my friends house to park my car (blocking use of my apartment space for my friend) and having to settle my dog back up in the apartment before arriving in an Uber to the airport 40 minutes before take off. Luckily I did make my flight, but because my friend couldn’t park inside my garage, he parked on the street and his back window got bashed over night downtown. $500+ in damage… She told me my dog was having anxiety which he hasn’t shown in the past as I have left him with many people before. She did send me a pic along with that but when I messaged her the next day asking how he was doing, I got no response. And when I followed up with “?” Over an hour later, She said “he’s doing alright”. Got no follow up when my friend picked him up and I believe I was blocked from her (assuming by her) on the app when I tried to leave a review. (Leaving a review from an email link in browser now). Like I said, things do happen, but because of her lack of communication in the beginning with no backup plan, it ended up costing my friend and I hundreds of dollars and a huge amount of stress having to find last minute assistance before catching a flight. I just wish she had let me know even just an hour before that she was running late, or come up with an alternative plan so I could have pivoted a bit. Will not be using her again.
