Attentive loving care for your pet!
Pet care experience
I have always felt a special connection to animals. Animal rescue and helping to find loving new homes for foster dogs (as well as caring for our own menagerie) has always been a passion of mine and I bring this same passion and special care to my responsibility in looking after clients. My approach to care includes giving special attention to each pet's unique needs and individual personalities. Play, walks, cuddles and quiet time are all part of the day. Whether interacting with all members of the pack or keeping your pup in a less active surrounding, I am focused on providing pet clients with the same gentle care and attention they receive from you. My goal is to make the pets in my care (as well as you) feel the most relaxed and comfortable (and to have a lot of fun) while you are away. :)
Reviews
Jennifer was great! She responded immediately to my last minute request and quickly set up a meet and greet at a nearby dog park to make introductions. She was very thorough in asking questions and making sure she knew everything there was to know. My 2 pups enjoyed spending time with Jennifer and her family! I will definitely use Jennifer again in the future!
Jen was awesome! She and her family took great care of our little Larry and she was super good about sending updates and photos. I felt very comfortable because she just let him slip right in with the rest of the family and didn't mind he wasn't crate trained. I would highly recommend her!
Jennifer took fabulous care of our 10 month old Golden/Lab mix! He came back exhausted and smiling. Couldn't have had a better experience! I feel 100% confident in recommending a stay with her!
Pearl had a wonderful stay with Jennifer and her family. Jennifer is very caring and concerned for your pets safety and well being. She made Pearls stay fun and enjoyable as well. Her family treated Pearl like one of their own and we felt very confident leaving Pearl in Jennifer's care. We would highly recommend Jennifer as your pet sitter and we will most surely ask her to care for Pearl again. Jennifer has great communication skills and even sent us photos of Pearl's comings and goings throughout the day.

Information Jennifer O. would like to know about your pet
Please tell me everything that comes to mind about your pooch ---Activity level, special needs, medication, fears/triggers, quirks, social, or socially anxious, clingy, a free spirit, favorite treats, allergies, special activities they enjoy, separation anxiety... etc. The more I learn upon meeting you and your pet, the better care I will be able to provide. It will also help me assess if your pup is a good fit for our home too.
A typical day
River trail walks, ruff play and fetch, neighborhood strolls, water play or just lounging and watching Animal Planet. Tailored to the needs of your pup! NOTE: Our house includes two BIG dogs who have very different personalities. Rigby is a young teen (2 year old) Golden Retriever who can at times be aloof, but he likes to play like a puppy. He respects little dogs but can ruffhouse with other dogs. He sometimes tends to "mount" and we intervene (he is fixed), but if your dog is an Alpha, this might be an issue. He's a sweet boy, just a little slow on cues from other pups. Layla is our 6-year-old retriever, boarder collie, newfie mix rescue. She's a big love of a girl, and Alpha to Rigby. She will climb in your lap and expects you’ll get on the floor to make this easier for her. She does have some herding tendencies and if another pup doesn't respond to her first warning, she lets 'em know. Not to worry. we gage and address this in our meet and greet and can easily see if your pup will be a good fit. :) She is a sweet girl -- just very big and sometime that might be scary for another (especially little, alpha or herding pup). She just needs them to know she's there to keep them in line and for humans to know she would like more kisses. And maybe a cookie. Or two.
