I have had dogs my entire life and come from a huge dog-loving family. I have owned, cared for and trained many different breeds: Labradors, Great Danes, Great Pyrenees, Basset Hound, and Shar Pei/Rottweiler mix. I love dogs very much but recently lost both my senior dogs (ages 10 and 15). I am permanently teleworking from home, so I can take short breaks throughout the day to let dogs outside. My husband and I live in a townhouse with a small fenced-in yard. I believe that taking dogs out on walks is important for their health and will try to take your dog(s) out for at 30-45 minutes a day (sometimes more). I can make sure they get outside time (for walks or playtime in our fenced-in yard) in the morning, during lunch and in the evening as needed. I know how much pets mean to their owners and would treat your animal like my own. We let our dogs up on the couch (if that's something you allow) and have a crate if necessary.
