My family has owned dogs my entire life, including Maremma, Border Collie, Dachshund, Golden Retriever, English Bulldog, Labrador, Poodle, Chihuahua, Beagle, Boxer, Pitbull, and Doberman. I grew up half of my life on a farm with every kind of animal and have always had a patient, loving relationship with all animals. We had several cats too. I talk with animals and care about their sense of well-being, comfort, and joy. I have experience with special needs purebreds and geriatric pets. I worked for a year at the NY Dog Spa & Hotel as a dog sitter and dog walker, having experience with specialty diets and breeds. I have been dog sitting at client's homes for over 10 years and enjoy the privilege every time. Through pet sitting I get to spend time with and care for others' companions, which is a blessing, as I am far from the fur babies in my life.

Jennifer did a wonderful job of watching our dog.
We absolutely love Jennifer and so do our dogs!! Right before we left town one of our Maltese Poodles got a bad ear infection and had to have a pill and ear drops 2x a day. Jennifer took care of her with ease and made us feel super comfortable about everything. We also got videos and pictures throughout the day. Our pups got plenty of outdoor time and lots of love and attention. Jennifer also took excellent care of our home and left everything immaculate. We will definitely be calling Jennifer for all our pet sitting needs!
Wow!! Jennifer is the best house/dog sitter I have ever used. She messaged us with pics and videos of Molly (our dog) once or twice every day and let us know how she was doing. I could see that she paid a lot of attention to Molly. Molly is a little older and recently had a seizure so she takes a couple medications twice a day, which was no issue for Jennifer. When we got home, Molly seemed very relaxed like she had a great week. The house was immaculate, and the sheets she used were washed and waiting for us in the dryer even though we didn't expect that. I'm really impressed and I'm not easily impressed. Thank you Jennifer and Molly thanks you too!!!!

It is important to be aware of the normal behaviors and actions of each pet and to watch for changes and be able to read on animal for stress and also to protect them in the right environment. This includes, depending on the fur and environment, checking for other critters.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks, hikes, dog parks, water, or wherever is appropriate for them, so they can be active, we can play fetch or interact in a natural setting which they enjoy themselves. Sometimes it’s a good day for a massage, rest day, and it’s always fun to practice skills they know.
