I've had dogs in my family and of my own for 30 years. Friends and family have relied on me to care for, walk, feed and administer medication for their pets for over 20 years. I have an 10 year old bloodhound/black lab mix that gets along we with other dogs. I'd love to help you out!

Thanksgiving Blessings! 2021 Road trip from Arizona to Tahoe, I needed a dog sitter for my 6 month old dog Cally I had just rescued her and was nervous to leave her with just anyone. What to do as I lived in AZ. I selected Rover. I was contacted immediately by Jennifer M. I felt comfortable with her within minutes. Saturday November 20, 2021 I dropped Cally off at Jennifer home and was greeted by her and her amazing dog Tallulah. She has a beautiful home with a large gated back yard. This made me comfortable. Cally and Tallulah hit if off right away. not only were both Jennifer and Tallulah inspirational for Cally , Quinn Jennifer sister dog also helped train Cally and they were the best mentors. Cally had an amazing time playing, hiking, and learning from Jennifer expertise. When I picked Cally up she came out of the house with Jennifer without a lease and stayed at Jennifers side until she reached me. I was so impressed how well Cally was behaving. I could see within a minute how the other two dogs had taught her socializing in a day. It was Truly a Blessing. Via the Rover app, text messages Jennifer kept me informed on how Cally was playing and interacting in her new surroundings. She sent me photos of the dogs together, so special, made me feel at ease. I wish I lived closer to Jennifer so I could hire her weekly to watch Cally. I would highly recommend Jennifer for dog sitting. I have many friends and family who come to Tahoe for vacationing and Jennifer will be the go to for them. Thank you again Rover for creating this site . Jen is super friendly and took good care of our big and little dog wile we were away for a overnight stay off the hill. We got regular updates and pics of our happy pups.
Jennifer was AWESOME :) I went up to Tahoe for my wedding and she was incredibly accommodating!! She made sure my pup was well taken care of and even took him on a hike and to a craft fair!! He was very exhausted and well fed once we got him home :) STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

I'd like to know if the dog is high energy, chews, has anxiety, is house broken, barks a lot, and most importantly, must get along with other dogs. Note on rates: If the stay is more than 10 hours, we consider that boarding at the $75 rate.
A typical day
I will take the dogs out in the woods by my house to run and get that energy out. Or if there's time, we can visit the Lake and enjoy the sunshine on the beach.

Availability
I work from home every day so I am available to care for your pet, and my dog Tallulah can keep them company while I'm in meetings. I walk my dog daily and we have a large fenced yard to roam.
