Hello there! My name is Jennifer. I'm a lifelong animal lover - the kid that always brought home one animal or another! My first real pet was my sheepdog, Ivan, who we added to the family when I was in 1st grade. He grew to well over 100 lbs and I cared for him until he passed away my first week of college. Now I have a pekingese named Ziggy who is much smaller but has a huge personality, and we recently adopted two friendly cats! I've had other dogs, birds, cats and rodents that I've fostered as well. I previously worked at a dog daycare in Manhattan and quickly became manager. My responsibilities included overseeing a handful of employees as well as around 25 dogs of all breeds and sizes daily. I administered medication and did daily feedings for individual pets. I also stayed overnight for clients who preferred it, or whose pet could not be around other pets.
