Pet care experience
I have had a dog all my life. My father always refereed to our yellow lab as our "blond sister". My very first job was to take care of a neighbors dog every day after school. I would take her for walks, feed her, and play with her. I have had a dog my entire adult life. Life just isn't right without a dog in it. My current dog is very friendly and enjoys having play dates with other dogs. As a stay at home mom I would have plenty of time to spend with your beloved family member. I would take him/her for walks to one of two nearby parks, feed them on whatever schedule you prefer, play with them in our fenced backyard, snuggle with them, and make them feel like they are at home. I am happy to exchange numbers with you and send you text or picture updates of your pet throughout their stay, or I can leave you alone to enjoy your vacation. Just let me know what you prefer.

We had to leave Boone for just under 2 weeks. When choosing a Rover sitter, it was especially important to me to find someone I was comfortable with and I knew would take care of Boone like we do at home. Jennifer and her family did just that! She sent picture texts very frequently (which I love and requested) to let me know how Boonie was doing!! Boone definitely had a great time with Jennifer and her family, and she even slept basically the entire day once I picked her up!!
Jennifer took my dog jogging and he was vary happy about that...
Jennifer is very pleasant and our dog, Sadie, was very well taken care of. She has a dog friendly home and yard. Sadie was even able to go to the groomer just a block or so away and was all ready to be picked up for her big move to Brazil. Jennifer's children seemed to enjoy dog-sitting and even asked when Sadie could come back to play again. If we ever need the service again near Rexburg we will contact Jennifer again! Thank you.

I need to know what your dogs perks and quirks are. Do they like to jump fences or sneak food off the table? Can they open doors or cabinets? (Yes some dogs I have watched can do that!) Do they have somewhere they love scratched or hate to be touched? Are they a barker? If so what are their triggers and is there a way to help soothe them? What are their favorite activities to do at home? The more you tell me about your pet the better I can take care of them. I DO WANT ALL DOGS THAT I WATCH TO BE UP TO DATE ON THEIR VACCINATIONS. This is for your dogs safety as well as any other dogs I will be watching later. You can get a print off from your vets office to show they are up to date. I want to be sure that all pets go home to their families as happy and healthy as they came.
A typical day
We have two parks within walking distance that I would be happy to take your dog to for walks. We can play fetch in our backyard, go for a run (with more active dogs), or just have a calm day in for those older dogs that need a calm place to relax. Let me know what your dog enjoys and I will do my best to keep them happy, healthy, and entertained while you are gone.
