I prefer to do a meet and greet beforehand to make sure the kids will all get along. Everyone vaccinated? On a heart worm prevention to keep my yard free from intestinal parasites and to protect my kids and future visitors? That's about it. I welcome all makes and models here. Cats too, they can be segregated into their own room.

The best part is the fenced yard. My dogs run and play all day if the weather is good. There's also a doggy pool if your kid is so inclined, mine are. I work from home a few days a week and my office overlooks the yard so I can keep an eye on everything. I prefer not to walk dogs I'm watching just in case someone slips out of their collar or we encounter an unknown dog while walking. I prefer visiting dogs to be safely ensconced within my 6 ft fence! Super friendly dogs may be able to come to my office, with your approval. I work for a pet insurance company and we have dogs there all the time.
