Seasonal dog sitting is a blast for me! In the past I have always had a dog in the family and volunteered at local shelters. Now the owner of a six-year-old german shepherd, I am pretty seasoned with the ins-and-outs of caring for a playful pup. I realize how tough it is to find a sitter you can rely on. I've been there before.. Rest assured your pup will be pampered, snuggled, and get some playtime in as if they were my own. You will receive updates and I am able to provide a quick pic on request. We spend a lot of our time in the backyard and pets are given the opportunity for a trail walk or trip to the beach. Please take some time to review the requirements for booking. Jennifer (and Lyra) were amazing! Fantastic communication and wonderful place for my dog to stay. I felt so comfortable immediately leaving my young dog in her care. Would not hesitate to recommend.
We left our dog with Jennifer for 3 nights while we were in Traverse City for a wedding and could not have asked for a better experience! She kept us in the loop with pictures and updates and Wallace and her dog Lyra were best buds by the end of the stay. Her backyard is huge and as soon as I dropped Wallace off he was running around the backyard with zoomies! Don't hesitate to book with Jennifer, she was great :)
Jennifer was a good pet sitter and a nice person that my dog Nina was happy with while we were away, we would use her again when needed

Some things that are helpful to know prior to booking: - Are you confident that they get along with other pets? - Do they handle well on their own for a short or extended time? - Are they crate trained? (crate available upon request) - Are they on flea and tick prevention and updated on all shots. Please include veterinarian info on their Rover page! - Any behavioral problems that I should lookout for? (ie. runaway risk, separation anxiety, or destructive behavior such as marking/counter surfing/eating socks or chewing on furniture) Keep in mind: ** Rover takes a 20% convenience fee for sitters and there may be additional fees attached to your base rate if you request extended time, please specify * I do not do overnight bookings in other peoples homes

You will find us trailblazing one of many scenic trails or at the dog park, but while dog-sitting, the backyard is the main attraction. There are many water stations..Lyra is a huge fan and many pups are too.

Availability
My Rover schedule will reflect my availability, however, I may be able to accommodate your needs for an extended stay with communication. Our routine starts with breakfast between 7-10a. followed by a quick walk or time in the backyard. We settle in for dinner sometime between 5-8p and usually go out one last time before bed.
