And they called it Puppy Love

Pet care experience

I don't care how old your baby is they are a puppy to me. I have looked after several friend's pets (cats and dogs) both in my home and at their residence. I am a full-time Executive Assistant for a well known global company so being organized, having a schedule, and handling multiple projects at the same time is a way of life for me I am a fur-mommy to a fun-loving lab named Sadie Belle. She's 1.5 years old and loves to play and cuddle. She really likes having guests come over so they can run and chase each other in the back yard. Please note that I require a meet and greet session before sitting for new guests in my home to ensure that my guest and my dog (Sadie) get along. I am comfortable having your pet at my home or coming to your residence to take care of your special family member when you are away. I have a large fenced in yard with other dogs in every yard around my property. I have a 3 bedroom home so your baby can potentially have a room to themselves if needed. I also have a large bathroom if your baby is used to being in a crate when you are away during the day or during bed time. I look forward to giving and getting the love from your pet that only a beloved 4-legged family member can give. Why I love dog sitting My parents got our first family dog in 1987. We had her for 18 years. She wasn't just the dog, she was part of the family. I've never met a dog I didn't like and have yet to find a dog who doesn't make friends with me. I had my fur-baby Riley for 15 years. He picked me to take care of him and I think I did a good job. I now am the proud mommy to Sadie Belle. She's a 1.5 year old Lab and full of love and ENERGY!!!! About my yard I have a large fenced in back yard. There are dogs in each yard surrounding mine so plenty of new friends to make. While I am comfortable allowing my dog outside without supervision, I ensure that my guests are supervised. My experience administering medication I think this depends on the temperament of the dog when getting medicine in general. If they don't like it when their owner gives it to them, they aren't gonna like me doing it either. Do you have any tricks you use? masking it in peanut butter, smashing it in wet food.

We were very pleased with our dogs stay with Jennifer. She sent us pictures while we were gone which was very nice and made being away from them a lot easier. Definately recommend!

Jennifer did a great job with Lil Jack and was very helpful to my family in accommodating our pet. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone and plan to use her services again.

Jennifer is so great with Barcy. I have had her watch Barcy several times now, and Barcy always loves going over there. I would recommend her to anyone.

We left our puppy Brownie with her for 05 nights . We loved her. Brownie needed medication twice a day cause she had a really bad allergies and Jennifer took care of her. She also sent us texts and pics of Brownie. When we came pick her up Brownie was really happy and well cared. I am glad Jennifer could watch Brownie! I recommend her for every dog owner.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks I have a large backyard so I typically don't do walks, unless requested. If we go for a walk, I live near an area that has a lot of space that does not have other dogs to be distractions or enticements. Your dog's sleeping arrangement In their bed, in my bed, in their crate if provided. This depends on what they are used to doing. One guest spent the night on my couch one night and on the kitchen floor the next. He had the run of the house and this is where he wanted to be. Time I'll spend with your dog The amount of time depends really on the rest of my schedule. I typically spend a good 30-45 minutes every morning with my guest, come home during lunch to let them outside for another 30 minutes (weather permitting), after work I come home and spend another 30-45 minutes if I have plans for the evening, followed by time before bed. If I don't have plans for the night they get lots of attention between work and bedtime. If it's nice outside a lot of that time will be spent in my fenced in backyard. Time I'll spend with your dog If I am not staying in your home, I schedule to see your fur-baby at least 3 times/day. I spend anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours with them depending on the visit and the day (weekends get longer visits since I don't have to schedule visits around work hours.)
