Just like people, animals like being in their natural environment - connected to humans and time and space to explore their environment and nature and of course, with lots of hugs and cuddles! For the past decade, I have helped clients (2 legged!) with anxiety and stress. I apply those same skills to your pets. My specialty is anxious dogs. Energy is contagious. My home and myself offer serenity and calm. Calming music will be played while staying with me. I do not have people coming in/out...just peace. People are always intrigued that animals like to follow me when I am out on walks. Animals have always been drawn to me and I like to think that shows my true self. Even more so than people, animals feel your energy! I have always had pets. Our family always took in strays and I have continued this tradition as an adult. Before I had kids, I had a thriving pet sitting business. Now I have come full circle with my kids grown and wanting to return to nurturing animals. I share custody of my pets (1 dog and 2 cats) with my ex so I am missing having full time pets in the home. I have a home with a large backyard (partially fenced) and my house is surrounded by several parks. I love to walk and enjoy hanging out at my local parks. My home is equipped for hosting pets (beds, toys, etc.). No kids in the home and at the moment, I do not have pets full time in my house so yours will get lots of attention! **For boarding pets: I am not a good fit for high energy dogs that need to run around. My house is only partially fenced and I do work outside the home a few days a week. I prefer dogs that do not need to be crated, are good on a leash, with a calm (mostly!) demeanor. I cannot take aggressive dogs.
