Our private doggie in-law suite, where your pet will truly have a loving and individualized experience! We have 20+ years of pet care experience! We also are fanciers, owners, breeders and exhibitors of three Golden Retrievers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who live with us. We have also volunteered, adopted, and fostered several dogs and puppies for rescue organizations, including Lost Dog Rescue, The Washington Humane Society, Boxer Rescue, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue. Our dogs are family members. We will welcome your pup to Camp Golden Smiles and treat them like one of our pack! We have a unique arrangement for cage-free boarding for our guests. We have an entire in-law suite with its own kitchen, living area, and bedroom downstairs from our main residence with a walk-out entrance/exit to our large fully-fenced back yard. Your pet will have as much privacy or "family time" as he/she needs. If your friendly dog wants to interact with our pack, we can arrange that. Or if your pup needs some quiet solitude, we can also make that happen and stay with them privately in their own suite. It's an ideal arrangement for friendly and social dogs who love to romp freely, sleep on a sofa or (even the bed!), and we can keep them company throughout the day. The two adult members of the household here are both home full-time and teleworking, so we can spend plenty of time with your pup, and shower them with attention, both during the day and overnight. We have 20+ years with a variety of dogs, ranging from toy breeds (we have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, including a 15 year old senior) and golden retriever to lab mixes, samoyeds and Heinz-57 all American mutts. We have also been owned by several rescue and foster dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes. We love them all! We are knowledgeable and well equipped to deal with any emergency issues that may come up and have access to 24/7 veterinary care within a 10-minute drive. Dog daycare guests receive an individual 15-20 min walk each day. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and up to date on all shots including bordetella. Puppies are an exception, but must have all age-appropriate vaccines We cannot host any bully breeds or any dogs with behavioral or aggression issues -we have children and small dogs in our household, and our utmost goal is to keep everyone safe and happy!

Jennifer and "Camp Golden Smiles" was an excellent experience! She was very attentive and responsive, sending tons of updates. You can tell she genuinely cares about dogs and wants to do her best to make them comfortable. I will certainly be reaching out to her again in the future when I need a sitter.
This was my first Rover experience and I am beyond grateful to have found Jennifer. I cannot say enough about how incredible Jennifer and her family are. Brody has severe separation anxiety and has not stayed with anyone outside of family before and they went above and beyond to handle the situation and treated him like one of their own. Brody had the BEST time!! Jennifer kept me updated constantly and sent tons of videos and pictures of Brody during his stay. She is very communicative, thoughtful, kind, nurturing, dependable, understanding and simply put, the best, and I am so appreciative to her and her family. She even provided recommendations for Brody after his stay. Brody can't wait to go back and we'll definitely be booking again soon!!
Remy had a great time at Camp Golden Smiles! Jenn was very responsive and kept me updated with photos and videos. Remy enjoyed his yard time and made new pup friends with Jenn’s pups! I would highly recommend and Remy looks forward to his next visit to Camp Golden Smiles!

We have a large fully fenced yard, and our Golden Smiles guests go in and out to the yard throughout the day, or at least every 2-4 hours. In the summer we have a pup pool for water play! We feed our guests 1-2x day depending on your pet's schedule. We can also play ball, dispense medications, and can give your friendly pup a bath (if they cooperate) for an extra fee. Here in our home, your pet is guaranteed to get plenty of love and attention! We do require that all our canine guests be up to date on all their vaccines, and owners must show proof of vaccination within 48 hours of booking. We cannot accept any bully breeds or dogs with a history of aggression toward humans or other pets. We have a proven safety process of introducing our visiting dogs to our household gentle family dogs and kids to make sure everyone is safe and gets along. Our dog daycare guests receive an additional 15–20-minute individual walk each day.

We do have other dogs and kids in our household, so we will need to know how comfortable your pet is with interacting with our family. We also have plenty of private space for your pet, so they can have as much social or private time as appropriate.
A typical day
We have a large fully fenced backyard with plenty of toys, balls, room to play fetch and romp. In the summer months we have a doggie pool to play in and sprinkles to run through. Our dog daycare guests will also receive a 15 min individual walk each day in addition to being let out to play in the yard 4+ times per day.

Availability
The two adult household members are full-time teleworkers, so we have around the clock availability to care for your pet here at Camp Golden Smiles. We also have a teenage daughter who is a junior handler in AKC events and loves to assist at Camp Golden Smiles.
