Lots of love, care, and attention await your loved one at my cozy apartment, a nice sized studio in the heart of the Upper East Side. My home is quiet and very well maintained, clean and pet friendly and filled with plenty of love and toys for playtime. Since I work from home, I am very flexible with my schedule and would be spending 90% of my time with your doggie. I would be able to accommodate your pet's regular walking and feeding schedule with frequent walks (4 +) and time to cuddle and play. I am only several blocks from Central Park and love to spend time there (and during nice spring and summer days can spend part of the day on long walks and relaxing in the park with your pup). I have always been an animal lover and especially love the company of dogs. While i host your pup, they will be receiving my full attention and companionship, whether cuddling or playing with his or her favorite toys. I am very trustworthy and responsible and will be sure to look after your pup as I would my own. I offer boarding as well as dog walking and day care and only work with one pup at a time, unless receive approval from both owners (and never more than 2 pups at a time). I would also send you regular updates and pictures so you can rest assured that your loved one in the best possible care. For fellow neighbors on the UES, I would also gladly bring your pup to any appointments (vet, grooming etc) or play dates :-) Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since childhood. I grew up in a household with many pets, from birds to cats and dogs. When I was younger I dreamed of becoming a vet and even interned at my local vet for 2 years while I was in high-school. Although my career path as a vet didn't quite work out I have always been around dogs and love their company. Sadly, my childhood doggie, Monet - who was a sweet and lively black lab passed away several years ago and miss him dearly. It is one of the reasons why I love dog sitting and boarding - I get to meet and enjoy the companionship of loving pups which bring back so many good memories. Meet my pets I grew up with dogs and cats but sadly I have no other company at my apartment, just me, so your pup can get spoiled by my undivided attention! About my yard I have a building garden with outdoor seating and central park is only a few blocks away. My experience administering medication I have administered medication to cats (I grew up with both cats and dogs) and once or twice to dogs so I am not the most experienced administering medication. However, if your pup is on the timid side and very well behaved I would definitely be willing to try my best.
