We are missing "loving-up", rough-housing, napping with, and walking with our senior dogs that recently passed away. We would like to share our love and attention on your sweet fur-ball. Our 55lb Jakie passed at 13 yrs old and his litter mate, 60lb Gracie passed last month at 14 yrs. Even though they were medium size Shepard mixes, we love all size dogs (and cats also). We are the people that stop and get kisses from every dog at the beach, the sidewalk, flea markets...anywhere really. We don't have a kennel or fenced area to "store" dogs; dogs are family to us and would be in the house with access to us all day and night. We have a 30ft x 15ft back (fenced) deck where we sit outside with coffee, fold laundry, and work a few hours in nice weather. Our dogs loved laying out there with us watching squirrels in the trees and deer in the field or chasing toys. Chris works from home and I stay at home while my middle schoolers are in school during the day. My kids are here half of each week and at their dad's the other half so it's pretty quiet around here. We both miss snuggles and kisses from sweet pets, but we aren't ready to adopt as we can never replace Jakie and Gracie. From experience with our own pets we are capable of going outside every two hours during the day, taking a senior out in the middle of the night to pee, giving medication, cleaning up accidents...all typical stuff. Chris and I would love to meet you and your baby(ies) to see if they'd be comfortable at our house so you can be away overnight without worrying about your best friend.
