Dog lover looking for snuggles
Pet care experience
End of summer availability, opening up my profile for new clients for the first time in several months. I'll be primarily working from home through August, and would be happy to open our home to your pups! I have had a cat for nearly 20 years (passed away two years ago), but am currently without a pet. I have dog sat for family and friends over the years, and I'm happy to open up my home to neighbors in need of trustworthy and caring pet sitting. I've been dog sitting through Rover since 2022 and have enjoyed caring for all the pups while their owners are away! I do require a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure it's a good fit. We do accept (and love!) puppies. We can accept pets from multiple families with proof of up to date vaccinations.
Reviews
She is an honest and nice person. He has devotedly cared for my dog and will take care of it again next time.
Jennifer was awesome! I have 2 senior dogs, and this being the first time away from family, she treated the dogs like her own. We had an initial meet and greet with her family and my dogs to make sure it would be a good match on both sides. Throughout the trip, she sent pictures and updates which alleviated any anxiousness on my side. My dogs were totally at home there, and I would absolutely use Jennifer again!!!
We so happy to kept our Milo by her. Jennifer and her Son took very good care of milo they were such a sweet heart We recommending her to all your pets sitter and for sure we will be back to her every time we need
I did a meet and greet prior to Murphy’s stay. She is very welcoming and I knew Murphy would feel comfortable. During Murphy’s overnight stay, Jennifer sent photos showing Murphy playing, snuggling, snoring, and happy. She kept in touch and it was good to see my baby relaxing. Thank you Jennifer for watching Murphy! He had a great time.

I have a two-story home, and a fenced-in yard for dogs to play in periodically during the day. I also live in a great neighborhood with sidewalks that is good for quick walks around the block or long walks down the Clinton River trail depending on your pet's needs, typical routines, and stamina (many of my tiny furry friends can only do short walks!).

Information Jennifer L. would like to know about your pet
It's important for me to know about the dogs personality ahead of time, for example - whether they are high energy and need lots of play or if they tend to sleep most of the day, if they are going to bark at the mailman and squirrels or just keep a watchful eye on the neighborhood, how trusting they are of new people, do they sleep alone, in a crate, or in a room with humans or on the bed (which is fine with me, but I want to reinforce their home rules and routines), if they will dig in the yard if not supervised closely.
A typical day
Dogs will typically be let out in the morning whenever they get up, our house is usually awake by 7:00 a.m. Frequent breaks for outdoor play in the fenced in yard are common, and if the weather is nice (summer), I like to leave the patio door open so with the dogs can come in and out as they'd like. On most days, I try to get out for one or two walks around the neighborhood each day.

Availability
Summer 2023 schedule - working primarily from home. Fall 2022 - working full-time with flexible hours, usually leaving the house after 9:00 a.m. and coming home by 4:00 p.m. at the latest, but I usually split my days half at home half in the office if I can.
