Pet care experience
I have a 2 year old border collie mix, she is a rescue from Texas. After adopting her, I fell in love with the idea of dog sitting because it is important to have someone who is able to care for a dog when needed. I have cared for 2 black labs while their parents went on vacation, and day check-in's. I also care for another friends dog usually every week, so that she can let her energy out during the day. I enjoy dog sitting and overnight stays very much!

Jen deserves 10 Stars, not just 5! She provided amazing care for Gidget and provided me with piece of mind. She emailed numerous photos, detailed daily habits of Gidget; they walked, played, & even bathed Gidget. She was such a happy dog while I was gone. I won't ever chose anyone else to watch Gidget!
Jennifer watched Cody Tuesday evening through Monday afternoon and she was terrific! We received daily updates with pictures. She treated him like part of the family. :) If we ever have to leave Cody behind on future trips, I would most definitely want to leave him with Jennifer! :)
I'm so glad we chose Jennifer to dogsit for us! Not only did we make new human friends for ourselves, but our dog Huck got along so well with theirs. Really thankful he had fun & was well cared for! She also sent us so many pictures, which helps when we're away. :) Thanks Jennifer!

I would like to know any history about the dog that I am watching, I don't have any breed preferences, just as long as they are well behaved. I do require a meet and greet prior to dog sitting the first time. I would also like to know the dogs vet information, emergency contact, and if they are updated on their shots.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks, and I know that it's important to walk consistently on a routine schedule. I love to take dogs to a local park and walk them on leash. I also have a fenced in backyard and love to play fetch with other dogs multiple times per day. My dog is a very friendly dog and gets along with mostly all dogs (she's not perfect by all means). My dog also is very well socialized, so I believe it is important to continue that routine with Kensey and the other dogs that I sit for. I work from home full time, so I am able to give the dogs the attention that they need and monitor them closely throughout the day.
