Pet care experience
I took care of many different dogs while I worked as a nanny for over 12 years. I have experience with small dogs (a pug & a poodle), puppies (a black lab & teddy bear mix), and large dogs (labs & golden retrievers). I also owned three dogs - a poodle, large sheepdog mix, and a terrier mix. Being around dogs just makes me happy! I live in Monroeville with my hard working husband and sweet 13 year old son. I am currently working as a part time photographer, so I am able to plan my schedule around your fur babies! I love to take photos of the dogs that I care for, so expect lots of pictures/video updates if that is something you would appreciate. I know it can be hard to leave your fur babies at home, or in someone else's care, so I will do what I can to help you feel comfortable. I promise to take great care of them and give them lots of love and attention. My ultimate goal is to provide a safe and happy experience for you and your pet. Since I am currently working part-time, I am able to be flexible and can accommodate your needs. I am available M-F between 8am-3pm for walks or drop in visits. I can sometimes do walks or drop in visits between 3-8pm, if the location is close by. I am not currently providing home services, but might start in the future. I live with my husband and 13 year old son, who adores dogs and is very gentle and sweet with them. We live in a safe, private neighborhood with sidewalks, and have a nice level back yard.

Jen came to walk my two dogs, while I was recovering from a medical issue. Both dogs were so excited to see her, and it was obvious how much she enjoyed being around them. She was so easy going and adaptable, taking each dog for a walk separately, since they don't like to be walked together. When it was time to feed them or give them water, she was careful about making sure both dogs were getting enough. She was great about giving them both equal care and attention. She was very loving and patient with them. I highly recommend her!
Jen took such great care of our black lab puppy Harley for 1 1/2 years. She took Harley out for daily walks around our property, cleaned up after her, and put her in and out of her crate as necessary. She was so patient during the puppy stage, and took great care to make sure that Harley wasn't chewing on our things. She was very reliable and gave me frequent updates on how things were going. Jen is caring, friendly, and attentive, and I felt comfortable going to work, knowing that Harley was in good hands.

A typical day
I am happy to throw the ball, play tug of war, walk in the park, or just cuddle up on the couch with them. Whatever makes them happy!
