Dogs are so much more than pets—they’re companions, friends, and, really, members of the family. I’m fortunate enough to have two canine family members of mine, Sophia and Saya. We’ve traveled across the country together, hiking and camping and having the most fun I can imagine! I want to give your dog the same care I’d give a member of my family. Obviously, my pups love the great outdoors, and Atlanta gives us so many spaces to explore! Though I tend to stick to the parks in my own neighborhood, we sometimes head out to Piedmont Park. We love to go hiking a couple of times a week. And I won’t go anywhere unless it’s dog-friendly, even if it’s out to dinner with friends! I believe it’s so important that your dog gets to know me before I sit for them. I prefer that meet-and-greets take place outside, in neutral territory. Your dog will set the tone—whether they come straight up to me and sniff or shy away from me at first, I’ll follow their lead. I might have Sophia and/or Saya with me to test how compatible your dog is with mine. Communication is key! If you have any concerns or requests, please let me know up front. I do my best to be punctual, but you know Atlanta traffic—I’ll contact you if I’m delayed, just for your own peace of mind. If you have other pets, no problem! I have experience with cats, rabbits, birds, and lizards (though I’m especially fond of cats.) I look forward to meeting your furry little family member—hopefully they’ll stay with my family for a little while!
