Hello! My name is Jennifer. I have a 12 year old puggle and an 9 year old lab mix. I am a certified professional dog trainer, I taught group classes and private lessons for 4 1/2 years. I also worked in pet education and taught other aspiring pet professionals at a company called FetchFInd, formerly known as CanineLink. I lived and worked with dogs in Chicago until my fiance and I packed up our lives (and dogs), hopped in our RV and headed out to California. We are spent about 7 months traveling and exploring and now we are starting to plant some roots in Santa Barbara! I am really loving getting to know my new home and I look forward to meeting you and your pups!

10/10 would recommend! Jennifer took wonderful care of my dog Bear while I was out of town. It was very hard for me to leave my pup for such a long trip, but Jennifer treated her as if she were her own and sent many updates and pictures. I felt great knowing Jennifer has many years of professional experience working with dogs and could tell right away that Bear was in good hands. Jennifer was communicative, responsible, and very sweet. I will definitely use her services again in the future!
Jennifer has been helping me out with my dog and two cats for years, and to say that I couldn't have done it without her is an understatement! Jennifer loves my boys as if they are her own and I have no doubt she'll treat your fur babies like family too. She is responsible, patient, and communicative (pet pic progress reports for the win!!)... basically I can't say enough good stuff about Jennifer. She's an all around incredible human and anyone who gets her through Rover will be lucky to have her.
Jennifer worked for me in the past for several years, and I can't say enough about what a wonderful employee she is, what a dedicated dog lover she is, and how committed she is to provide caring support to pets and their parents. In the time that Jennifer worked for me as a dog trainer, I saw her grow into an unbelievable expert on dog behavior, and more often than not, she was requested by pet parents due to her approachable personality and compassion for the owners and their dogs. Anyone would be lucky to have Jennifer care for their pets.
Jennifer is a dog whisperer!! She walks Little and dogsits for her when we are out of town. Little loves her and responds very well to her. Jennifer has also shown me a few techniques to help train potty train Little! Having Jennifer around has had a positive effect in our household!! We give her 5 stars!!

I would like to do a meet and greet with your dog before I agree to any services. I don't have any breed or size restrictions but I do want to make sure that I have a good handle on your dogs temperament and specific needs.
A typical day
I am happy to work in little training sessions or enrichment exercises for your puppy or dog while I stay or walk them. I am loving all of the California sunshine so I am happy to take your dog on a long walk or hike if that is something that they would enjoy. I am personally not a big runner but if your dog likes to play catch I am happy to get them out and running that way. My dogs tell me that I am a rock star snuggler so if your dog prefers to be lazy and snuggled up on the couch, I can happily do that as well.
