I moved to San Francisco from Delaware in 1996. I began an apprenticeship at a grooming shop in the Castro that same year and I’ve continued to work with animals for the last 25 years. My focus was primarily dog grooming, but I also had a dog walking business for a short time and I regularly boarded dogs for my grooming clients over the years. I have two children now, ages 9 & 10, but my first baby was a cairn terrier mix named Puddy. He is no longer with us but we were lucky enough to have him until he was a teenager. In short, I’m very familiar with the responsibilities of caring for animals and I understand the trust necessary to leave your babies in the care of someone else.
