I have been around dogs my whole life. I have 2 dachshunds of my own and hold a special place in my heart for senior dogs and rescues. Dogs are family not just a pet. My love for animals gets stronger the older I get. I am very patient and gentle. In my childhood we had a farm with horses, cows, goats and barn cats. We loved them all but he DOG (or dogs) were inside, on the lap or bed or couch, close to us and loved deeply. I always treat all Animals as if they were my own. I enjoy walking dogs. Playing with them or just snuggling. Whatever they prefer! And if allowed by the owners, my pockets are always full of treats!
