Hello! I am an animal lover and have been a petsitter in the NYC area for 5 years. I have owned dogs throughout most of my life including a Bishon Frise, Australian Cattle Dog, Chow-Chow mix, and a lab . I teach elementary school and teach yoga . I have extensive background checks due to my job, many references, social media, and my own website. I am only available for caring for pets at your home because my husband has allergies to dogs. I am available for longer stays and/or if you want a short weekend get away. My interests include dance, yoga, hiking, travel, animals, adventures, and learning about different cultures. Looking forward to spending time with your pets and caring for your apt/home!

Jen has been an amazing cat sitter for us for over 5 years. Reliable, dependable and loving. We adopted an older cat who has special needs, requiring a shot twice daily at mealtime. Having Jen stay with our beloved Kitty made our vacations worry-free. Plus, when we came home, he was happy to see us, versus the typically tough readjustment period of bringing him home from a kennel instead. Not a happy cat. With Jen, your pet is in loving hands!

To answer your questions: What makes Jennifer an awesome human being? Her warmth -- accessibility, KINDNESS! Jennifer is lovely, reliable -- and super SUPER responsible. For a very long time Jennifer was my primary caregiver to my beautiful pet (Simba) -- and treated my girl like she was her own. Simba was geriatric :) -- and needed extra, extra care -- Jennifer showed up in responsible, meaningful, reliable ways. I absolutely give her a major thumbs up and trust her 100%. Don't even doubt it. (p.s. sadly Simba passed away, and Jen even attended my sweet little memorial ceremony for Simba!) -- I know, right? So, a big thumbs up to let her hang with your pet!
A true dog lover, Jennifer was an amazing dog sitter. My chihuahua was so much happier after her visits. Jennifer loves animals and she is very connected to their emotional needs.
