A Doggie Staycation!

As a fellow dog owner, I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with the right person. I am a teacher in a local school district and have owned dogs my entire life. I have always had a soft spot for dogs and I can't help but stop to meet a new friend when out and about. I enjoy training them so much my dog Mazie earned her Novice Trick Dog Title at 5 months old. Things I would like to know: 1. I ask that you have all vaccinations up to date. 2. I’d like to have veterinarian information provided in case of an emergency. 3. Please provide a start and end time when inquiring about availability. 4. Is your dog crate trained and potty trained? 5. Any special needs your dog may have or other information you would like me to know.

A typical day
I like to explore new areas so I will inquire about your current walking routes. I would provide frequent walks along both the paved and unpaved trails. Possibly walking around downtown Northville is another option.

Availability
A typical weekday for your dog during the school year would be breakfast (7:30am) followed by going for a walk, a lunchtime walk (if you are close to my work). When I return from work (3:15pm), the evening is started with a longer walk or trip to a dog park some dinner and time spent hanging out together. In the summertime (Mid-June through the end of August) and weekends I do the same basic routine only I am with your dog the entire day. My family frequently walks with our dog to downtown Northville to visit the library or enjoy an ice cream. Playing fetch at the dog park is another favorite location for our family. I would love to bring your pup along with us.
