Pet care experience
I have been taking care of a multitude of pets for my entire life. My family and friends were shocked when I chose to pursue a career in technology instead of veterinary sciences. Now, my dog, Avery, and I work from home full-time and adore having other animals around. The reason you should leave your dog in my care, frankly, is because I love animals and will treat your dog like my own. You’ll know exactly how your dog is doing and I’ll promptly let you know if any issues arise. You’ll also (of course) receive multiple pictures of them enjoying the sunshine in my yard or lounging in my living room.

Jennifer was wonderful. We had a meet-and-greet prior to her taking our pup for day care and she was very respectful, asked a lot of questions, and took things at Cava's pace. Daycare went equally as well. I know Cava was well taken care of and loved all day.
Jennifer went above and beyond in her care for our dog and we were so impressed with her!

I have a fenced backyard. Dogs are generally free to come and go into my backyard when the weather is pleasant. We also have whole basket of toys dedicated for visiting dogs, including several puzzles! For everyone’s convenience, I ask that you fill out Google form asking questions like where it is safe and comfortable for your dog to sleep at night, about their dietary needs, etc. This helps me stay organized and make sure I’m not missing any care needs.

I love all breeds, but I want to know what makes your dog special. Do they need encouragement or discipline? Do they have any specific quirks I should know about? Health concerns or fears? Separation anxiety? What are their exercise and dietary needs? I also ask that if your dog damages or destroys anything during their stay that we are able to agree on a reasonable reimbursement. If you need to pick up your pet after 8pm, I ask that you please book an additional night. My weekday mornings are typically very early.
A typical day
During their stay, your pet will have full access to my house and my heart. Every day, we’ll take a wander through the Avenues. We may also visit Lindsey Gardens, City Creek, or the Greater Avenues for some light hiking during their stay.

I work from home full-time, so I will always be home on the weekdays to hang out with your pet. I'm extremely organized and active. In my free time, I like to hike, ski, and road bike. Avery enjoys a daily evening walk or trip to the dog park, and a hike at least once per week.
