Jennifer is amazing and always goes above and beyond what we expect.

Overall, I was glad to have Jennifer check in on the cats and make sure they received wet food and some play time while we were on an international trip for 2 weeks. We also loved getting pictures of the kitties while we were gone. When we did our meet and greet, we talked about all the care instructions, I specifically mentioned that they share a single litter box, so it has to be scooped regularly to stay healthy and not too smelly, in addition to likely needing to be changed completely once in the middle of the trip. I even provided a second, unused litter box that could be added if she felt like the one we had wasn’t enough and said I’d tip extra for all the litter work. She confirmed all of this. When we returned home, the box appeared to not have been scooped at all, the litter was basically one solid clump of urine and feces. Upon talking with Jennifer, hoping maybe she just missed a day or two, she said she had “misunderstood” and didn’t scoop at all, only changing the litter box once in the middle of the two weeks. Anyone owning a cat knows that two cats in one box cannot go a full week without any kind of scooping or changing, it felt super lazy. I also assume that meant more germs than usual were tracked around on their paws due to the wetness of the litter. It seems like she’s very sweet with the animals, but I personally would not rebook and I would not trust her on a very long trip.
