About this sitter: Hello! My name is Jen. I'm 27years old and living in Crown Heights. I have always loved animals and consciously strive for better treatment of all animals. I absolutely love pet sitting, and have had experience with a range of dog personalities from the excitable puppies to quiet adult dogs. I can walk your dogs or provide pet sitting services. Please feel free to get in contact with me! I was once a dog walker for Happy Pet Care in Brighton, MA. I learned a variety of things regarding dog behavior and how dogs get along with other people and animals. I feel this information is VERY helpful when entrusting your pet with another person in another setting other than the one they know. Other than my professional experience, I have a lifetime of personal experience with dogs and other animals. Working with and caring for animals has been and will continue to be a passion of mine. Why I love dog sitting My family has been a "dog family" for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a cocker spaniel named Poco. He was a gift for my siblings and I for Christmas a long time ago. All of my siblings were afraid of him but I loved him! He was still young and rambunctious which I'm sure frightened my siblings. We ended up giving him away to a friend because I was the only one who wasn't afraid of him. We then had a rat terrier named Luke. He was a great dog. He absolutely worshipped my dad and would follow him everywhere. It was from Luke that I understood a true bond between a pet and family. Meet my pets We do not have any pets at our house (hopefully, soon though!) About my yard I do not have a backyard. My experience administering medication I have plenty of experience administering medication.

Jen is an incredible dog caregiver. We left our pup with her for nearly a month and I was absolutely comfortable the entire time. She sent daily updates and cute photos, was super communicative and made incredibly flexible. When our travel plans changed and we extended the trip, she was so understanding and accommodating. I trust her 100% with my dog, who absolutely adores her. Anyone that works with Jen is lucky! (As are their pets!)
Jennifer was a great with our dog Harry. She sent us pictures of him while we were away and he looked very comfortable. She also was very flexible with us for pick-up and drop-off times. We would certainly use her again for her services.
Jennifer was easy to communicate with, met our pup Lola in advance of her first stay, and we were very comfortable leaving Lola in Jennifer's care. We have already booked another stay with Jennifer.
Jen took Indie for 5 days over the Easter holiday weekend, on short notice, and was very responsive before, during and after Indie's visit. Indie had a nice time with Jen and her roomates and came home relaxed and happy - which makes me happy.

I like to adapt to whatever preferences the pups I watch have. If they tend to be more active I try to give them ample time outside to burn off their excitable energy, or if they are more of a couch potato I make sure to keep them company! No matter what, it is important to me to spend as much time as I can with them.

All that I would like to know is certain likes/dislikes of the dog (likes to have it's belly rubbed, doesn't like playing fetch, etc.). Certain habits I should be aware of are always helpful. I enjoy all breeds of dogs. I have more experience with small to medium sized dogs. My family's dog Evie, is a puggle so I am used to dogs around that size. Though, I have no fear of dogs that beyond that size.
A typical day
I love to keep dogs engaged and entertained. It helps that I live within walking distance to parks like dog friendly Herbert Von King, Brower Park, and of course the endlessly exciting Prospect Park. I always take precautions when it comes to watching dogs and don´t take chances with off leash play, but I like to run and play with them nonetheless!

Availability
I work a full-time remote job, which often has gaps in the day for me to spend time with the pups I watch. I feel relieved that I finally have a job that allows me to have the flexibility to give my full attention to what I truly prefer: spending time with other people´s dogs!
