I grew up spending every afternoon and most weekends around dogs. Time spent with them included feeding time, walking them, keeping them active, and developing a special bond with each pet. My childhood consisted of being involved with family pets, pets of friends, and learning the behaviors of pets. They say caring for animals takes patience. I disagreed. I always enjoyed the time I spent with each pet, regardless of who the owner was. After working in PetSmart I began to understand the psychological aspect of pets. Aspects involving behavioral issues, and training. It was also a great opportunity for me to understand the dietary needs, and how it changes with their age. My life has always involved one form or another of pet care.
