Pet care experience
I have over 12 years experience working as a professional pet sitter. I started out as a professional sitter working for a local company in the Huntsville/Madison area before starting my own pet sitting business several years ago. We moved out of the area for awhile which forced me to give up my pet sitting business. As far as my personal experience, I have been an animal lover and owner since I was a child which is a lot of years! Currently, I own 1 cat, 5 dogs, 4 horses and several chickens. I am also a dog breeder so have a lot of experience with puppies. My husband and I live on a small horse farm with a big back yard, so the dogs have lots of space to run around and play!

Jennifer was amazing! She is very detailed & asked a lot of questions about the care of my animals. She was punctual & went above & beyond for all around care even with extreme unexpected record weather conditions & my travel delay. She communicated daily with sending photos & great information on the message cards that no other Rover sitter had ever done before. Jennifer is very kind & caring & I was for the first time able to relax on my vacation knowing my fur babies were attended to. I will most definitely have her again for my pet care. She is incredible !
Jennifer was great with our cats! After being stood up by two other sitters, Jennifer was right on time for our pre-vacation visit and each time looking after our pets. She gave detailed visit notes and great pictures. Will request Jennifer first next time we go out of town.

I have a very big back yard with lots of room for dogs to run around and play. My dogs get along well with other dogs and are used to visiting fur babies. We recently acquired a doggie play house which is in the remodeling process. It has electricity, so we can run a ceiling fan in the summer and a heater/dog warming beds in the colder months. The dogs will have full use of it during the day. Our personal dogs love to play outside during the day and sleep well at night in the house in their beds.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or concerns that I need to be aware of. Also, are there certain activities they should refrain from doing. What in particular do they like to do for fun? Are they more chill or high energy. Do they play well with other dogs. How are the with cats? Our kitty thinks she is one of the dogs!
A typical day
My dogs love to go on walks around the neighborhood. We play a lot of games in the backyard with balls and frisbees. They love to go into their wading pool to cool off on hot summer days. They also love helping me do barn chores and often times try to help me gather eggs. On special occasions, we go walking in the various parks and walking trails nearby or we load everyone up in the truck to go wading in the Flint River.

I am currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule which allows me to still have loads of time to pet sit. I am available during the week and most weekends.
