I have owned and loved dogs my entire life, and I've been lucky enough to spend a few years as a dog trainer, helping to teach basic obedience to puppies. I understand the importance of keeping your pet happy and healthy, making sure that they are confident and feel comfortable at every minute, and that is something that I instill in our home with my own pets, and I'll strive to make your pet feel like a part of my own family. I require a free Meet & Greet before beginning services, to ensure that your pet and I are a good fit, as well as all the humans being a great fit. I want your pet to fall in love with our visits, and for you to fall in love with my services, we strive to put a smile on our clients' faces, and induce tail wagging in the dogs that we visit! Our dogs, Frost (Border Collie) and Mars (Rhodesian Ridgeback), can attest that we excel at burning excessive energy through play and mental stimulation. Jennifer is great and I truly recommend her to any dog owner. Turner was so happy around her dogs, her other furry clients and the whole environment, that when I went to pick him up, he wasn't that excited to come home. Before I left him there, I was worried because I know he is a big, pushy and too excitable boy, so I was afraid the other dogs would not like to be his friends, but there are all kinds of dog personalities there, and in somehow I just felt like he belonged there. I am familiar with pet safety, as I have my own pooch who has a nose that can sometimes get him into trouble. That means I'm no stranger to putting things away that might be a safety risk to your pets, ensuring that proper doors are closed and locked, ensuring that your pet doesn't get into anywhere that they may get themselves hurt or stuck. I'm also very well versed in the energy levels and stimulation needs of many dog breeds, so that I can best keep your pet busy, entertained, and happy during any visit.

We have no breed or size preferences, but we would love to know if they have any allergies or any particular behaviors that need to be addressed. We would love to know any quirks that your dog's personality has, whether they are protective of their house, food or any toys in their home, or if they are in the habit of getting into the garbage, sock stealers, or if you prefer them to be kennel kept when our visits are complete. Our clients have our constant attention and supervision, but a head start on your pets unexpected behaviors is always well appreciated.
A typical day
All services are weather dependent, for example, extreme heat or cold. Living in Edmonton, we know all too well how extreme our climate can be sometimes. In lieu of outside yard play on days when fun in the sun isn't an option, we will instead opt for indoor enrichment with your pet, doing puzzles and ensure that they get the proper mental stimulation on days the weather is less than optimal.

Availability
I currently work from home as an administrative assistant part-time, so my schedule is flexible in order to service my clients and their pets best. This allows me to pay close attention to detail, and completely immerse myself in caring for your pet without feeling the pressure of a strict schedule, or needing to rush any visits with your pet. This also allows a buffer in my schedule that may allow for any mishaps in your home that need a quick clean up or tidy.
