Although it has been a while since my dog, Ariana went to Jenny and Donnie's for day care, I had to come back and write at least 1 review of their service. Let me start by saying that since they informed me that they were taking some time off of providing day care, I have been extremely worried about finding another provider who would measure up to the standard of care that Jenny and Donnie provided for Ariana.. They treated her like family and loved her like I would have had I been with her on the days/evening when she was with them. That said, I know too that Ariana loved them as well. Additionally, it was clear to me that Ariana loved hanging out at their place just as much. She would come home and after eating her dinner, promptly curl up on her bed and "pass out". More so, she would generally sleep solidly until I woke her right before bed time to go outside 1 last time before turning in for the night. On top of that, she always slept through the night and barely moved until 8:00 AM the next day. Idk about anyone else but I truly believe that a clear indication of how much a dog enjoys going to a daycare provider is how much and solidly they sleep once they arrive home. And it never failed that after we came home from her being at Jenny and Donnie's, she would eat dinner and then sleep solidly until the next morning. There is no greater compliment I think Ariana and I can pay to Jenny and Donnie. Except for saying that they set a very high bar for the next provider who I must find now that Jenny and Donnie are taking a sabbatical from providing care for animals other than their own. If they ever decide to start watching and caring for dogs again, don't hesitate to use them. I for one pray every day that they hurry up and find their way back to Rover. One thing is for sure, we are client's for life; whether they are working providers or on sabbatical. We wish them luck and joy on their marriage and whatever other endeavors they take on, but we are also hoping for their return.
