Pets are family!
Pet care experience
I’ve had a pet in my life since I was 3 years old. Cats and dogs, both large and small. I have experience in training pups and adult dogs, and administering both oral and topical medications. I have a long-haired ginger cat, Ella, and a young rescue German Shepherd mix, Mia. I have also worked in a pet store, and have experience with birds, little furry friends, fish, and some reptiles. Currently, I work part-time as a knitting instructor, and am a full-time dog mom. I am available each day after 10am. I look forward to caring for your pets, taking them to appointments, walking, and working with them. Safety for your pets and home is an essential part of providing excellent care. I treat each of your pets as if they were my own, and the same goes for their homes.
Reviews
Just started our relationship with Jennifer. My very shy and anxious dog loved her right away. So far so good. She’s wonderful!
Nice thanks so much
My cat loved Jennifer from day one! Thanks for everything Jennifer!
Jennifer was amazing and attentive, gave me great updates and let me know anytime something happened so I could enjoy my trip.

While I’m at your home, my goal is not only to ensure the wellness and happiness of your pet, but to leave your home in better condition than I found it. As someone who utilizes pet walkers and overnight sitters myself, I understand firsthand the value of returning home to happy pets, and not having any extra fuss.
Information Jennifer D. would like to know about your pet
The more information you can provide, the better! How long have you had your pet? Did you get him as a puppy or was he a rescue? How often and how long do walks need to be? Are there any triggers or situations which cause unwanted behavior? Does your pet have any allergies? Any medications—what for, how often, and how does your pet take these meds?
A typical day
I enjoy providing care with confidence in my experience. Cues from each pet are considered as we build a relationship and establish trust. Building a routine helps them know what to expect. Play time and cuddles are also important! I keep some training treats in my pocket, because even the best pets deserve to know they did a good job!

Availability
Caring for my own pets and yours is a very important part of my daily routine! The first and last things I do each day is a potty break and love for the pets I’m with, followed by food, walks, and play.
