Hello, My name is Jennifer and I was born and raised in San Diego. I now live in the Hampton Roads Virginia area - Portsmouth to be exact. I am an avid pet lover. I have been professionally pet sitting for over 13 years. I take pride in caring for other people's fur kids and treat all of them as if they were my own. I leave pet parents happy and pet clients begging for more! I LOVE animals of all types. Beginning at a very young age, I realized that I wanted to spend a majority of my life dedicated to the health and well being of animals. I grew up with a Basset Hound, a Lhasa Apso, and a Cocker Spaniel. I absolutely love dogs and caring for them. Right after college, I owned a Pit Bull and it was great learning that the stereotypes of them were all wrong. I have experience working in a Veterinary Hospital-assisting animals getting healthier. I have worked in an animal shelter- helping dogs get trained and I have worked with animals in their own environment- caring for them in the comfort of their home, as well as mine. I also have experience providing pet massage to dogs-helping with range of motion, flexibility, comfort, and relaxation. I love cats too so if you have a feline furry friend in your home, I can care for him/her as long as he/he is open to receiving loving care. ;) POCKET PETS: rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, chinchillas- I ADORE these types of pets and am very comfortable with care for them AS WELL AS TORTOISES and TURTLES! **I DO NOT CARE FOR SNAKES** sorry My experience administering medication: I am comfortable administering medication. I have experience doing this when I owned dogs as well as working in the animal hospitals. If you have read this far- please note: I have a full time job and I do this on the side to fill the void of not owning any of my own pets.
