As a lifetime dog owners Jeff and I bring love, fun and great care and energy to every dog sitting and walking experience. We treat your pets as we do our own - with unwavering care and affection. We have our own to puppy-kiddo's, a lab and a lab/borer collie mix, and we've had the joy of loving, walking, and dog sitting for breeds ranging from Labs, Golden Retrievers, German Shepards, to smaller breeds such as Terriers and Dachshunds. Whatever your dogs breed may be, above and beyond we know it's a member of your family and we treat them as such. We are life-long dog owners and lovers with over 30 years experience caring for dogs. When your dog is in our care we will go on multiple walks each day. We live near the Estuary which has lots and lots of cool trails to explore. We can also walk up to the local beach where dogs are allowed. Outside of our front and back is plenty of grassy spots and we even have a completely closed in back porch where dogs can lay around outside without the worry that they'll break free. All in all, when your pup is at our home we'll have lots of play time - or time to just chill if your dog is a bit older - and lots of potty breaks. We have experience with all types of leashes and harnesses - Easy Walk, Prong Collar, Step-in, and Gentle Leaders. We do ask that you leave me with the leash and harness your dog is accustomed to. We can easily stay in communication with you via texts, phone calls, emails (whichever your prefer) and are happy to send picture updates of your happy dog We both work from home, which is ideal for us to be able to give your loved one constant supervision and attention Dogs in our home are allowed to make themselves comfortable wherever they find a spot. Be sure to bring your pups favorite blanket or snuggle item (dog beds, etc.) so I can provide them with their own added comfort. And if your dog has a favorite toy, bring it along! Be sure to bring ample supply of your dogs yummy food and treats let us know your pets feeding schedule, including amount of food per meal. If your loved one has any allergies or anything special you think I should know, write it down and tell me. I'd also like to know who your vet is. For safety, we would like for your dog to have a name tag on at all times that has your phone number on it. If you don't have a tag, we strongly encourage you to get one. We can't wait to be the "home away from home" for your pets! We do ask that we set up an initial meet and greet before your time away for safety and peace of mind, this way our dogs can meet, you can check out my home, and to make sure we're both comfortable We welcome your pets with a warm heart and open arms!
