We can't wait to meet your dog. Our household is comprised of me- the mom, an aunt, my teenage son and sometimes the college girl. My sister, who lives with us, loves to take the dogs on walks around the neighborhood. . My son (16) loves to play fetch with our visitors. My daughter (19) attends Iowa State is majoring in Animal Science. She comes home often on the week ends to visit her favorite visitors. We have all had our covid vaccines. We have a fenced in yard with lots of grass, a short step off the deck and a nice shade tree. We have cared for aging dogs in the past including our own that had diabetes for over 18 months. We are comfortable with giving shots and caring for dogs with special diets. We ask you to bring a crate or bed for the dog to be most comfortable at night and when we leave the home. We have separate areas for the dogs at feeding time to avoid distractions. We want your pups to return rested, well fed and begging to come back and visit us. Please pack the dog's food and favorite treats. We are happy to host brother and sister dogs. The second dog is only $10.00. When your dog stays with us they become part of the family. We have a very spoiled black pug. He enjoys all types of dogs and plays very gently. Mostly just runs in circles and tires out quickly. He is up to date with all shots and vaccines.
