Hello! I'm a 34 year old animal lover, ready to help at the drop of a dime. I'm originally from the country in Texas. Growing up I had my own pets (rescued mixes, min pins, boxer, pit bull, yorkies) as well as stray dogs (lab and pit mixes mostly) that the neighborhood took care of collectively. Have had several pets from birds to Pitbulls, and love them all passionately! I moved from Texas 9 years ago to work in production in Los Angeles. I now work as a Manager at a local hotel (furloughed at the moment), so pet sitting seems like a fun thing to do on the side, not only to meet new people but also to play with animals. It's a total win win if you ask me! I’ve been in Williamsburg for 3.5 years now, and have repeat clients all over the neighborhood. I live in and work on the North side and tend to keep my bookings limited to that area. But, of course, I’m super flexible! My experience involves potty training, and minimal training of my own pets. I have personally owned several dogs as well as babysat friends' pets while they were out of town. I lived in Florida for a while, and was a volunteer at the ASPCA of Central Florida. My duties included walking the dogs and taking them to play fetch and such in the play areas. I've had to carry a 45 pound pitbull who didn't want to go back inside, so I'm not afraid to get down and dirty. I've also had to care for several older dogs who became special needs. As my dogs grew older their eyesight and hearing deminished. I also had a pup that was allergic to grass, so I'm aware when skin is irritated and how it should be dealt with. I also lived with (my roommate's dog we got together in 2005) an older Pomeranian for 5 years who had Cushings Disease and needs daily treatment. I'll treat your fur baby as if they were my own, and care for your home and your property the same way. Since I'm also an Airbnb host for my places in London and Spain, I know how I would want my space to be treated, and therefor I come with the upmost care in respect for not only you and your dog, but also your property.
