Hi! My name is Jennifer and I am a fun,loving and energetic mom who adores all animals. I work mostly from home as a REALTOR and pet sit. Our family loves doggies and there is almost always someone available to snuggle. *** Sadly our fur baby named Cricket passed away recently so we now only have one leopard gecko lizard. *** We adopted our senior pom from the Plano animal shelter and she has been such a wonderful addition to our family. She is very chill and loves to ride with me to drop the kids off to school and various activities. She gets along well with other dogs and has a passion for letting me know someone is at my front door! I have 3 boys ages 10, 12, and 19. They love to love on the dogs we sit. They love throwing the ball for them and helping out with their food and water. They are very gentle to all animals and treat them like a sister or brother. I would love to host your fur baby in our home so that you may relax while you are busy knowing they are in good hands. Our home is mostly tile floors with some carpeted areas. Equipped with a dogie door so your baby can go in and out as much as he wants. We have an awesome backyard for dogs who enjoy outside with a patio and large tree for shade. We do not have a pool. I have a crate for small dogs that enjoy being crated for comfort. There is also a gated area adjacent the the dog door. The best match for staying in our home would be a dog who loves children and other dogs. I ask that they are house broken but understand accidents happen especially in a new environment. Dogs 15 pounds and under are welcome to stay over. However if you have sibling dogs where one is small and one is big but very gentle with the smaller breeds please let me know. I can check in on and walk larger dogs at your location. All dogs that I watch must be kid friendly as my kids often go with me to check on the dogs. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING>>>> (Things I've learned working with Rover) *****If you are UNSURE (meaning your pet has never really been around kids or other pets ) if your pet is Kid and pet friendly please let me know up front. ****** **** Although I do allow our dog guests to sleep in my bed I do reserve the right to adjust the sleeping situation if a dog has issues including bladder control or marking territory or becomes aggressive towards my husband or children. Sometimes the sleeping area becomes a territory issue for some dogs and I will make sure they have a safe, clean and comfortable place to sleep. ***** **** Drop off and pick up times are arranged and agreed upon in advance. If a guest is running late it is important to let me know as I do have outside clients that need to be attended to.**** If you are late for pick up that may result in fee of $15. Stuff happens, flights get canceled and delayed. If you need an extra night just let me know in advance. *** I am reserving those agreed times for the guest. **** I ask that your baby please be clean at drop off. I can give them a bath for a bath fee and I don't mind doing that - I know it's hard to prepare for a trip and sometimes fitting in a grooming appointment is hard. I can provide a bath, but not "grooming". If you bring bedding it needs to be CLEAN - soiled bedding will not be used. ****** ***** Medical conditions must be disclosed up front before reservation is made. Failure to do so can result in termination of the reservation. I am prepared to give medications but some medical conditions may not be a good fit for our home. ALL special accommodations or supplies your pet may need are provided by the guest - ***** **** There are times that dogs do not adjust well and have unexpected behaviors. I always do my best to accommodate the dog, after all they are in a new situation and may be nervous or have separation anxiety. If a dog becomes aggressive or uneasy or repeatedly has accidents he will be in a gated area adjacent to the dog door. **** I have years of experience with dogs. My first dog, Fred, I brought home at the age of 6 after tricking my parents into allowing it . I told both that the other said yes! Boy I really wanted that puppy. It's the perfect time in my life to dog sit and take care of your baby while you are away. I totally get the importance of great care for our pets. After all they are our family!
