**About me** I'm a registered nurse in an area clinic, I have grown up with pets, having had at least 1 pet at all times of my life. The first job I had out of high school was working at a pet store taking care of multiple small animals, making sure their cages were clean and even administering medication. My 2 kids (6 and 14) have also grown up with many animals, at the moment we have 2 dogs, 1 gerbil and 1 fish. Our cat passed away 1 year ago at 12 years old. We pet sit for my brother's 3 dogs often and are used to having up to 5 dogs in the house, they all get along well. If you need care for the whole week we can typically offer that during the summer months as my 14 year old daughter can help to let the fur babies out and snuggle them. Otherwise if you would like an adult there at all times we can help out with Friday through Monday vacations. **About my home/services** We have a 1200 square foot house, open concept kitchen to living room, the bedrooms and bathrooms are kept closed to make sure the dogs don't get into anything that they shouldn't. Our front door is blocked off with another door at the top of the stairs to make sure the dogs are unable to 'make a break for it' out the front. Our back door goes out to our fenced in yard. Some of the fence is over 6 feet tall but there are other spots that are only 4 feet tall, if your dog is a jumper we may have to use a tie up for it's safety as there is a busy street in the front. Our dogs and the ones we have watched have not jumped over though. **About my neighborhood** We have a dog park within walking distance and many bike trails that are great for walking dogs. We live across from the river and on a busier street though. **What to expect** Your dog will enjoy many, many cuddles, lots of running in the backyard, playing with other dogs, fetch, and walks throughout the area. **Special rules or requests** If your dog is spending a long time with us sending their kennel/crate with them and their special food will be helpful. It is preferential if your dog gets along with others as we will always have at least 2 dogs already here. I would like to limit the size to 75 lbs as I would not like them to escape our fenced in yard.
