I am a seasoned veterinary technician who has taken a leave of absence from this field to raise my daughter. I've grown up with many dogs of different breeds as my mother was a breeder and spent my summers on my grandfather's farm in Iowa. I have worked in grooming as well and can trim nails or give baths if needed. I take pride in the fact that I have dedicated my life to the wellbeing and care of animals. I volunteer my skills once a month with P.A.W. team providing veterinary care and grooming to the homeless or those receiving state assistance. Having many years experience in veterinary medicine, I am knowledgeable with canine behavior, comfortable with special needs pets, and understand the importance of a happy pet = a happy home. I believe in positive reinforcement and have a passion for canine behavior. If needed I am able to work with certain behavior issues and comfortable with certain types of aggression. I am absolutely love the bond between a human and their dog. There's a reason they are called man's best friend!
