Pet care experience
My husband, Brent, and I are major dog lovers, along with our 6 year old son. We are THOSE people! We don’t believe in “pets”, we believe in furry children. In 2018, we lost our very much beloved and spoiled dog of 9 years, Guinness, to cancer. We took him as many places, with us, as we could. While we dealt with our grief (me mainly, I had a really hard time), we got involved with Rover as sitters (in our home only) to get our dog fix. We loved having furry guests, a few of which were repeats. Hours available: Daily 9:30am - 6:30pm In 2021, we decided that we were finally ready to add another fur baby to our family and adopted our Husky who we named Chase.

I am 100% positive that Jennifer and Brent provided the best possible stay for our boy Oscar! This was our first "big trip" away since adopting Oscar and I had concerns with kenneling him since he LOVES to be around people and out and about so much. We arranged a "meet and greet" with Jen and her son since we were unsure of Oscar's past experience with children.. needless to say it went fabulous and Oscar absolutely ADORES her son. Jen kept me up to date throughout the stay, even sending pictures of Oscar with her son and their adventures. She was extremely accommodating considering Oscar has a few "special needs" (ie raised feeder, canned food and water added to his dry, picky eating schedule) that I'm sure other sitters wouldn't fuss with. My only concern was if my dog would actually want to come home with me at the end! Jen and Brent were wonderful and I will definitely be booking Oscar's future stays (and playdates!) with them!
If you are like us, one of your biggest concerns is finding a way to make family vacations work without burdening your animal. Jennifer and Brent watched Cosmo for the 3rd time for us, this time for 12 days while we did a holiday trip out to see family. They took exceptional care of him and gave us an update on how he was doing at the end of each day. He was walked several times a day and treated like a member of their family. In fact, he was not left alone once which is the type of care you simply cannot find at a boarding facility. We can’t even do that at home for him on most days. You should have absolutely no concerns that your animal will get the best care possible with Jennifer and Brent. They are true dog lovers and it shows. When we picked up our dog they had left a kind note and a homemade Christmas ornament with Cosmo’s face on it... unbelievable! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Cosmo and for putting our minds absolutely at ease for our family vacation.
Jennifer and Brent did an outstanding job watching our dog at their home from the 27th to the 28th of October. Our dog is 11 years old and has a lot of separation anxiety which makes boarding not an option for us. Jennifer and Brent cared for him as if he was their own. They followed our directions to a T and gave us prompt updates on how he was doing when requested. He did not spend a moment alone. When our dog was having a difficult time at night expecting we would be coming back to get him, they actually blew up an air mattress and slept next to him--Unbelievable. They are true dog lovers and you couldn't ask for a better place to leave your animal.

When it comes to dogs, we're happy to talk them for walks, give pats and belly rubs, make sure they have food and water, play and give snuggles. As for cats, we know they rule the world and just allow us to live in it...we will cater to their needs, clean litter boxes, make sure their food and water bowls are full, provide snuggles and rubs as permitted and desired.
